Social Anxiety and Shyness Ultimate Guide: Techniques to Overcome Stress, Achieve Self-Esteem and Succeed as an Introvert by Lisa Kimberly
This is a well-written, helpful and organized guide for introverts who are trying to succeed in a world that is dominated by extroverts.
Social anxiety is a condition that is both embarrassing and painful. Lisa Kimberly gives the reader insight into this distressing disorder and offers helpful suggestions on finding relief.
This book is filled with tidbits of wisdom. It exposes the negative myths that often surround the introvert and details for them their many advantages over being an extrovert. Introverts are not shy, boring people. They are deep thinkers, creative and innovative. Contrary to popular belief, introverts enjoy social events, just not in the same way and to the same extent as extroverts do. Introverts recharge their batteries by being alone; extroverts gather their energy and recharge from other people.
I found this book interesting and insightful and would recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about social anxiety, shyness and the advantages of being an introvert.
