I thoroughly enjoyed The Journey. This was a different sort of time-travel story for me, because, in The Journey, the time-traveler takes an active roll in changing history. Michelle Jennings, the heroine, and time-traveler takes a bold stance by helping people make better life choices. She is particularly interested in the teenager, Shelly Preston because Shelly is Michelle’s younger self.
In The Journey, the heroine finds that she has inadvertently traveled from the year, 2010 to the 1970’s, and comes face to face with her teenage self and her parents. Michelle makes it her mission to correct the poor choices she had once made in her life, and to save others from dying.
I found the storyline interesting and the writing compelling. If you are looking for something different, look no further.
I received this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
