*Storm Clouds Rolling In* by Ginny Dye*5 -Shining Stars

Storm Clouds Rolling In, is the first book in the Bregdan Chronicles, a fascinating and well-written historical fiction series.

Storm Clouds rolling in

The book takes place in Virginia, during the 1800’s. Ginny Dye does a fabulous job presenting both the northern and the southern points of view on slavery, prejudice, and political opinions. This book gave me a deeper understanding, into the hearts and minds of the southern plantation owners, slaves, and the country folk of that time than what I had. I’m not going to include any spoilers, but what I will tell you, is that as soon as I finished Storm Clouds Rolling In, I immediately started reading books two through nine. I loved every single one of them. I anxiously await now for book ten, to be released.

This book is more than just a story about slavery and the horrid atrocities that happened during the Civil War. It’s a book about life, with all of its sad times and its joyful celebrations. It’s a book about love, betrayal, acceptance, and forgiveness. I found Storm Clouds Rolling In, and every book in this series, to be emotionally charged, compelling and inspirational. The stories moved me to tears, warmed my soul, and left imprints of inspiration on my heart. Will I be reading every new book in this series? You betcha. Ginny Dye is a gem of an author, and is now, one of my favorites. Discover for yourself the many nuggets of wisdom and inspiration in the Bregdan Chronicles. I highly recommend, reading Storm Clouds Rolling In, and every book in the series.
