The Heart of a Texas Cowboy by Linda Broday

the heart of a texas cowboy

New Western Romance from Linda Broday, Coming May 1, 2017!

Lara never expected to marry. Her face was disfigured because of an evil man. The puckered scar was a constant reminder to her, of just what an angry person was capable of. No, Lara wasn’t in any hurry to marry. The only good that had ever come from being raped by Yuma Blackstone was her beautiful daughter, Gracie.

Houston Legend was broken. His bride, Becky, was dead, shot by a jealous lover, even though she had been carrying the murderer’s child. Houston had always loved Becky, but apparently, the feeling had been one sided. So, to protect his heart, Houston swore off women. He began to drink heavily until his father tricked him into marrying Lara Boone, a single woman with a child.

Yuma Blackstone, however, was not finished with Lara. And, he was not about to let Houston, steal what he considered, his property. Houston Legend, though, was not afraid of anyone. He would deal with the evil scum, the Legend way.

The Heart of a Texas Cowboy is an entertaining western romance. If you love outlaws, gunfights, and romance, you’ll enjoy reading this book.

Thank you, Sourcebooks-Casablanca and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.

  1. Beautiful review. I loved this book, thank you for sharing. This is now my favorite book by Linda Broday. Houston swept me off my feet. The secondary characters in this book were so strong, that many could go on to have their own stories told. Can’t wait to read Luke’s book in October.

  2. Awww, Peg. Bless you for the kind words. I’m really glad this story found a place in your heart. If there’s no struggle to find love, it usually won’t happen. Thank you for posting this.

Wishing you much love and big Texas hugs!
