Another Winning Story by Jill Mansell, Coming 5/2/17!
Meet Me At Beachcomber Bay is a delightful, entertaining light read.
Clemency would remember forever, the day she met Sam. He sat next to her on the plane and flirted with her during her entire flight. When she left the plane that day, she felt giddy with happiness over the special connection she’d made with Sam. Clemency had hoped that Sam would want to continue their relationship once they were off the plane. She was wrong.
Clemency’s heart broke for the second time three years later, when her stepsister, Belle, showed up with Sam. Belle was delighted to know that her stepsister was jealous of her. How could she not be? Belle was with Sam; the same man Clemency had fallen in love with while on the plane. Clemency, however, could only take so much smugness from her stepsister before she decided to retaliate. Clemency cornered Ronan, a man whom Belle had desired for years, and asked him to be her pretend boyfriend. Ronan was more than happy to oblige. He played his new role, like a star.
There are several layers and surprises in this book, and as each sub-story unfolds, the reader is brought deeper into the lives of the characters. I especially liked Clemency, Ronan, and Sam. Meet Me At Beachcomber Bay is a well-written, easy to read book, with lots of emotion, depth, and meaning.
