Don’t Miss Jennifer Moore’s Newest Release; Miss Whitaker Opens Her Heart!

It’s Superbly Written, Thought-Provoking and Touching.-I loved it!

I absolutely loved Jennifer Moore’s newest release; Miss Whitaker Opens Her Heart. I was quickly swept up into the story and couldn’t put it down until I read the last page.

It was 1814, and Eleven-year-old Sarah Whitaker, was anxious to reach Australia. She couldn’t wait to see her papa again. Unlike, her Aunt; she didn’t mind the open seas. Sarah loved everything about the ship. Captain Thackery even allowed her to work alongside his crew. But, Sarah’s happiness would come to an abrupt halt, as soon as she reached the shores of Australia. Ten years later, though, Sarah was still in Australia. She loved managing her father’s sheep farm even though it came with many challenges, betrayals, and setbacks. Her latest betrayal came from Daniel Burton, her new neighbor, he not only took the land that she tried to buy, he stole her best foreman as well.

Daniel Burton had been sentenced to death, but instead of hanging he was shipped to Australia. He received a full pardon for his crimes from the governor of the penal colonies. The Duke of Southhampton had paid his way. And, although, Daniel was ashamed of his past behavior, he was grateful for his new start in Australia. One of the best things about his new life, was his neighbor, Sarah Whitaker. She was beautiful and fascinating, and Daniel was determined to make up for their rocky start. Although her farm was filled with working convicts, she didn’t trust any of them. Sarah had been hurt and betrayed too many times to let her guard down. Daniel didn’t know how to tell Sarah about his past. He was hoping that he could just keep it a secret. But, Daniel knew that secrets never stayed hidden for long. And, unfortunately, he was right.

Jennifer Moore has become one of my favorite authors. Her novels are superbly written, thought-provoking, and heartfelt. I highly recommend reading Miss Whitaker Open’s Her Heart.

Thank you, Covenant Communications and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy. I loved it!
