Unspeakable:850.jpgNewest Romantic Thriller by Elisabeth Naughton–Unspeakable-Coming 11/20/18!

Although all of the children in the McClane family were adopted and had troubled pasts, Rusty was the only one who thought of himself as a black sheep. Rusty’s guilt over someone he loved tormented him daily. Unbeknownst to his family, Rusty was on a mission; spending nights in unsavory places, trying to ease his pain.

Legal Investigator, Harper Blake, could always tell when someone was hiding secrets. And bad boy, Rusty McClane, she knew, was hiding some dark ones. Harper was convinced that Rusty had something to do with the recent missing teenage girls.

Harper was a strong independent woman who knew how to take care of herself. Bad boys, however, had always been her weakness, and Rusty McClane was poking at her heart. He wasn’t the average bad boy, no Rusty, was a white knight, dressed in black, fighting to heal his soul. And, Harper couldn’t help but to find him irresistible.

Unspeakable is a dark, fast-paced, sexy romantic thriller. It’s well-crafted, with likable characters, natural dialogue, and twists, I never saw coming.

Thank you, Montlake Romance and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.

Bio (from author’s page on Amazon)

Before topping multiple bestseller lists–including those of the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal–award winning author Elisabeth Naughton taught middle school science. A voracious reader, she soon discovered she had a knack for creating stories with a chemistry of their own. The spark turned into a flame, and Elisabeth now writes full-time.

Though primarily known for her romantic suspense work, Elisabeth has penned over thirty novels and continues to write in multiple genres, including paranormal romance and contemporary romance. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and have earned several award nominations, including three prestigious RITA® nominations from Romance Writers of America. In 2017, REPRESSED, the first book in her Deadly Secrets series, won the RITA® for best romantic suspense.

Elisabeth’s work has been praised by the Chicago Tribune as being filled with “deadly intrigue, high adrenaline action, and scorchingly hot passion.” Kirkus calls her “a writer talented enough at weaving a yarn to get her readers ensnared in it.” When not dreaming up new stories, Elisabeth can be found spending time with her husband and three children in their western Oregon home, wrangling two cats, or chasing after one very rambunctious Dalmatian.

Don’t Miss It!

Gone is a riveting romantic suspense novel.
Alec and Raegan were a happily married couple until the unthinkable happened; their little girl, Emma, was abducted. Alec tore himself up with guilt. This was all his fault. He turned his back for a minute, and Emma was gone. He had an idea, though, who had kidnaped her; he just couldn’t prove it. His father told him that he would pay one day for testifying against him, and Alec knew that day had come.

Instead of drawing closer to support one another, Alec and Raegan pulled apart. Alec couldn’t stand seeing Raegan in pain, so Alec pushed her away, and drank himself into oblivion. Raegan swallowed her grief and went to work every day. She never; however, gave up the hope of finding her daughter.

Three years had passed before Alec and Raegan were brought together again. This time Alec was determined to make amends to Raegan, stay sober, and help find their little girl. But, the deeper they searched, the more nervous the mastermind behind several abductions, became. John Gilbert didn’t care, though; he could handle the heat. What he couldn’t handle, however, was passing up an opportunity to torture his son and his cute little ex-wife Raegan. No, he wasn’t done with them yet. Not by a long shot.

Be prepared to have your heart pulled through a gamut of emotions. Although the pages of this book are filled with raw emotion, there are also inspirational messages of hope sprinkled throughout the novel. Gone is a well-written story, with an intriguing plot, fully developed characters, and realistic dialogue.

Thank you Montlake Romance, and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.
