*Full of Fury* by Jennifer Millikin

Full of Fury is book two in the Full of Fire series.

Full of Fury

Gigi Waters and Xavier Townsend were co-owners of a nightclub; they were also divorced. We first meet the feuding couple in Full of Fire, the first book of the series. Xavier tried to buy Gigi’s portion of the business. He wanted to move on with his life and needed to cut the last tie to his former wife. Gigi, however, had no intention of letting Xavier go; unfortunately, she was still in love with the errant playboy.

Full of Fury is a behind the scenes look into Gigi’s life, her grief, her anger and her motives for the despicable behavior she displayed in Full of Fire, book one of the series. Anger and jealousy were the driving forces behind her malicious acts; she was, however, also mourning the loss of her baby.

I loved Jennifer Millikin’s first book, Full of Fire, so I was looking forward to reading her second book, Full of Fury. However, I was a bit disappointed when I found that the second book, was actually just a re-telling of the first, only through Gigi’s point of view.

Full of Fire

Full of Fire is a well-written romantic tale.

Lila Mitchell had no interest in going to the Townsend, the hottest nightclub in Vegas, to celebrate her 21st birthday. Loud music and gyrating couples were never Lila’s thing, but to be polite, she honored her VIP invitation. The owner of the nightclub, Xavier Townsend, made his way over to Lila’s table to wish his VIP guest a happy birthday. The attraction between the two of them was strong and immediate. But because, Lila and Xavier were polar opposites, their relationship was bound to have rocky moments. Lila was an introvert and Xavier, a well-known playboy. Lila was warned on several occasions to stay away from Xavier. But against her better judgement, she decided to give Xavier a chance. As a result, though, their love and commitment were sorely tested when Xavier’s past came rolling back to haunt them.

I found Full of Fire a humorous, enjoyable and highly entertaining read. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light, sweet and fun romance.
