                        Exposed

Mary DiNuzio was happy to assist a man whom she has known for years, with a legal matter. Simon has been discriminated against and fired from his work. His child was fighting for her life, in the hospital. Simon couldn’t afford to lose his job. However, apparently, his rising medical costs were affecting the company’s insurance rates and bottom line. The company was losing money. So, to address the problem, Simon was let go. Mary DiNunzio was furious over the injustice. She readily agreed to represent Simon. But, since she wasn’t planning on charging a fee, she needed to run it by her partner, Bennie Rosato. After hearing the story, Bennie told Mary to drop the case. There was a conflict of interest, and ethically, it was wrong for Mary to represent Simon. But, Mary DiNuzio couldn’t do that. Simon was practically family. And, if she didn’t help him who would?

Mary and Bennie were not only partners but friends as well. Together they made a fierce legal team, but that was all about to change.

I had a difficult time getting into this book. The first half of the novel was repetitious. The second half, however, was quite interesting; crafted with clever twists, turns, and surprises. If you enjoy legal thrillers, this book is worth checking out.

New Release Coming July 11, 2017- Check it out!

In the book, I Need a Lifeguard Everywhere but the Pool, Lisa Scottoline, and her daughter, Francesca Serritella, team up to write about incidents that occurred in their lives.

I found the book to be engaging and easy to read. Each chapter is crafted by either Lisa Scottoline or Francesca Serritella. Both writers, are good storytellers. Because different people find different things funny, I didn’t rate this book on how humorous I thought it was. I realize that, what I might not find funny, someone else would find hysterical. I Need a Lifeguard Everywhere but the Pool is a captivating and well-written read.

One Perfect Lie

Don’t Miss Lisa Scottoline’s Newest Release.

One Perfect Lie– Impossible To Put Down! One Perfect Lie is a gripping, perfectly paced and cleverly written thriller. I loved every page of this captivating book.

A suspected terrorist bombing was about to go down in Pennsylvania. And, ATF Special Agent Curt Abbot knew that he had only a week to prevent it. His gut was telling him that Central Valley High School was involved and playing a key role in the attack.

Everyone fell in love with, Chris Brennan, the new assistant coach, and teacher at Central Valley High School. He was handsome, charismatic, and knew just how to spin a tale to make everyone believe his lies. Chris studied people so he could manipulate and exploit them. To Chris, people were just a means to an end. That was, until, he met the good folks, in his new small Pennsylvania town. Unlike him, they were genuine. He hated to deceive them. What a terrible time to grow a conscience.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading One Perfect Lie and highly recommend giving it a read.

Thank you, St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy. I loved it.
