Holiday Spice by Samantha Chase-5 Stars–Book Review

Don’t Miss, Samantha Chase’s Newest Holiday Romance, Holiday Spice, Coming 10/3/17!

Holiday spice is an entertaining fun read, filled with love, romance, and emotion. It is story-telling at its best.

Holiday Spice is a sweet, well-written, contemporary romance.

Darcy, the youngest of the Shaughnessy siblings, had a strong need for family closeness. She had lost her mother when she was a young child, and although, Darcy didn’t remember her mom; she felt the loss deeply. Darcy’s favorite holiday was Christmas. It was the time of year for family gatherings and fun.

Ben Tanner loved working with wood. Each sculpture he created was a magnificent work of art. He was well known and sought out. To devote himself to his work, Ben lived like a hermit, in the mountains of Washington. He convinced himself that he enjoyed his solitary life. That was, however, until Darcy Shaughnessy, was stuck in his home, snowed in, and turned his world upside down.

Although it had been several years since Ben’s parents died, their death still affected him profoundly. Ben didn’t feel that he should be allowed to enjoy life, especially the Christmas holiday since that was his mother’s favorite time of year. It grated on him that Darcy not only loved Christmas but that she wouldn’t stop talking about it.

Holiday spice is an entertaining fun read, filled with love, romance, and emotion. It is story-telling at its best.

Complicating by Noelle Adams & Samantha Chase

Complicating new:600.jpg

Complicating is a cute, romantic tale, taking place in Preston Virginia. Daisy Phillips, a small town librarian, and Carter Hayes, a city mechanic, appeared to everyone, to be a poorly matched couple. Daisy was a wholesome; highly respected follow the rules, type of girl. Carter, on the other hand, was a street-wise, rough around the edges, tattooed, city-biker. In reality, though, Carter and Daisy were not all that different. Carter was a kind man with a big heart, and Daisy was a wild bombshell just waiting to be released.

The two met at a wedding when Daisy accepted a challenge from her friend. The challenge was to approach and win over, Carter Hayes, an aloof, intimidating bad boy. Daisy was tired of being the predictable good girl, so she rose to the challenge. Daisy and Carter hit it off so well, that their wild day together, resulted in Daisy becoming pregnant. She toyed with the idea of keeping the pregnancy a secret, but in the end, Daisy told Carter about their unborn child. What Daisy didn’t expect, however, was that Carter would want to be involved with not only the baby but her as well. Daisy didn’t know how she was going to make a relationship work, with a man whom her parents would never accept. So Daisy set out to fix the situation by changing Carter; and that’s when her life and his, became one complication after another. If you enjoy light romantic tales, check out, Complicating.

A Sky Full of Stars by Samantha Chase

A sky full of Stars.jpg

Don’t Miss Samantha Chase’s Newest Heartwarming Novel, A Sky Full of Stars.

I loved Every Page!

A Sky Full of Stars is a delightful, highly entertaining, feel-good novel. This book made me smile and fall in love with Owen and Brooke. Although they were not teenagers, their love had an innocent feel to it. I’ve read several novels by Samantha Chase, and I’ve loved every one of them.

Brainy Professor Owen Shaughnessy is falling in love with Brooke, a beautiful woman, who was once the type of girl who had tortured him in school. He couldn’t help but wonder, why a woman like Brooke was flirting with him? Was he just another project for her to try and fix? And what would happen to him when she was finished with him? His heart would break into a thousand pieces, that’s what.

Brooke did tease socially awkward guys in high school, like Owen Shaughnessy. She was the mean popular girl back then, but not anymore. Regret was a terrible thing to live with, Brooke knew because she felt its painful sting every day of her life.

This book is a beautifully crafted story with natural dialogue, raw emotion, and fully developed characters. I loved every page of this, superbly written, emotionally charged character-driven novel. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Sourcebooks-Casablanca and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.

The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase

the bridal squad

Coming 5/10/2017 Samantha Chase’s Newest Contemporary Romance!

The Bridal Squad is an entertaining romance novel about four women, Julianne, Harper, Natalie and Kayla, and the men who captured their hearts. Julianne and Gavin are getting married. They are the perfect couple. This should be the happiest time of Julianne’s life, but it’s not. Julianne is frustrated. Her friends are bickering, her wedding plans are in turmoil, and her mother’s rude behavior is hurting her sister, Harper. Their mother has always picked on her sister, but ever since Julianne started to plan her wedding, the stinging snarky remarks toward Harper have increased.

After three failed engagements Harper was in no hurry to get romantically involved with anyone until she met Brady, a kickboxing instructor. Natalie, the one who knew everything, about weddings and marriage, suddenly had nothing to say. And, Kayla, a photographer, lost her adventurous spirit after Adam; her boss gave her an ultimatum.

The Bridal Squad is an enjoyable novel about the joys and difficulties of romantic relationships and how friends, precious ones, can be a lifesaver during painful times. Although, The Bridal Squad is not as heartwarming as Samantha Chase’s other novels; I still found it very enjoyable.

Many thanks, to the publisher and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.
