Exciting New Release from Susan Faw

Soul Survivor is a captivating and well-written prequel to the Spirit Shield Saga fantasy series.

Whenever a god engages in the forbidden act of intimacy with a mortal, godlings, half-god and half-mortal, are born. Among the godling siblings, there was a growing undercurrent of distrust and dissension. Helga was jealous. Artio had the sun, the moon, and all the planets, as well as a gorgeous lover to keep her entertained. The golden twins, Caerwys and Alfreda, had dominion over all the souls and every living thing and they were worshiped. Helga, however, was stuck with the dead, and she wasn’t happy about that at all. She had a plan, though. She was going to be powerful, and her godling siblings were not going to like it one bit.

Caerwys and Alfreda were concerned, about a greater number of environmental disturbances that were occurring as well as an increased death rate. Caerwys decided to seek the counsel of the great Seer, Calleigh. And although she didn’t have good news for him, he at least knew what he was up against. Of all the pathways that were available to him, none of them were easy or had a happy ending. It was inevitable that in the coming days, people were going to die. To prevent the destruction of mankind and even the gods, Caerwys knew he had to choose the correct path. The Seer told him that he had the answer within him. As Caerwys braced himself for battle, he hoped that the Seer was right.

Soul Survivor is an engrossing novel and a fantastic read for fantasy lovers.

*Seer of Souls* by Susan Faw*5-Stars

Seer of Souls is a cleverly crafted fantasy; filled with magic, intrigue, love, and betrayal.

Seer of Souls

Cayden and Avery Tiernan didn’t know that royal blood ran through their veins. The secret of their birth was hidden, even from them. The twins were aware of the Primordial Prophecy but believed it was more of a myth than truth. Cayden and Avery certainly didn’t think that they had anything to do with the well-known Prophecy until two Primordial beings showed up to lead them to their destiny.

Wizard Mordecai Ben-Moses, had been locked in the Castle Cathair’s dungeon for seventeen years. Queen Alcina thought that if she tortured the old wizard long enough, that he would eventually cave, and give her the information she needed to capture Cayden and Avery. She was wrong. Frustrated and determined to please the Goddess of the Underworld, the Queen had evil spirits sent out to locate the twins, bring them back and to kill anything that tried to interfere with her mission.

Susan Faw does an extraordinary job building a fantasy world for the reader. I found the characters memorable, their dialogue realistic and the story plot compelling. Seer of Souls is an entertaining and engrossing read. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fantasy tale, well told.
