Royce Hastings came from an Aristocrat household. He shouldn’t have had to make a deal with the devil. But, his father had left his family destitute, and Royce needed money to free his mother and sisters who were now indentured slaves. Bishop was a greedy, evil man and Royce should have known better than to have anything to do with him. But he didn’t, and now Bishop was blackmailing him. Royce was charged with finding the Island where Tristan, a famous pirate, and his wife, Diane, were hiding. Royce knew that Bishop planned on killing Tristan, making slaves of the Islanders, and taking Diane for himself. And if Royce didn’t deliver, Bishop would send his mother and sisters to a place far worse than they were in, now.

As if Royce’s life wasn’t complicated enough, he had to go and fall in love with the Island’s healer, Simone, make friends with Tristan, his wife, and many Islanders. How could he bring Bishop’s evil to the Island, now? But, if he didn’t, what would happen to his mother and sisters?

Days of Desire is an entertaining read. Fans of adult historical fiction romance will find this book enjoyable.

First Comes Desire* by Tina Donahue

Newest Compelling Release by Tina Donahue!

Diana Fletcher was sick with worry over her younger brother’s welfare. He ran away, boarded a ship and was now in the hands of pirates. Benedict Bishop offered Diana a ship, with several armed guards to bring the kidnapping pirates, back to England for justice, and return her brother to safety; if she became his mistress. Although the thought of being intimate with a man her father’s age, made Diana nauseous, she agreed.

Diana was relieved to find her brother. She was also glad to see that her guards had tied up the pirate’s captain, Tristan Kent, and his crew. Tristan had no intention of dying at the end of a rope or returning to England. He did, however, intend to keep the beautiful Miss Fletcher near him. He was intrigued by the attractive courageous woman and decided that she was to be his wife.

Diana’s life was never the same after meeting the cunning pirate, Tristan Kent. She wasn’t supposed to like him, but she did. He confused her. Tristan was intelligent, educated and kind, yet he was a pirate. Her quiet, unassuming life was about to take a dangerous turn.

First Comes Desire is a well-written, compelling and enjoyable romance.

*Passionate Pursuit*by Tina Donahue

Passionate Pursuit

Passionate Pursuit is a compelling historical fiction novel that takes place during the 15th century.

Beatriz Gonzalez y Serrano of Andalucia, Spain, didn’t want to marry someone, just because her father told her to do so. Her father had chosen Marquis Larnaz Telles, a cruel and ruthless man to be her betrothed. Her mother was sent to an early grave because of her father’s abuse. Beatrice had no intention of following in her footsteps. No, Beatriz would rather work as a lowly servant, for the rest of her life, than marry a man like her father.

After Beatriz had escaped her childhood home, she secured a job, working as a servant for Don Tomas. Although she worked long hours and was exhausted most of the time, she was grateful to be free.

Although Beatrice realized that a love relationship could never develop, she couldn’t help but to look forward to Don Tomas’s visits. Don Tomas, knew that his life would be a lot less complicated if he could just forget about Beatrice, but he couldn’t. She was unlike any servant he had ever had. It was puzzling to him, though, that Beatriz could read and write. Don Tomas was convinced that she was hiding something, and he was determined to unearth whatever secrets the mysterious woman thought she had safely buried.

This novel is well-written and captivating. If you enjoy reading adult medieval romances, than Passionate Pursuit is the book for you.
