*When the Tiger Kills* by Vanessa Prelatte

When the tiger kills

When the Tiger Kills, is a well-written, and compelling mystery crime thriller.

Detective Cimarron and Sergeant Melbourne combed the Montpelier, Colorado area for clues to identify the work of a possible serial killer. Deaths that had been once deemed accidents were now being reinvestigated. A man was found stabbed to death, another at the bottom of a cliff and a young woman, has been kidnapped.

The killer has devoted his life to the Norse goddess, Vanadis. His prisoner, Lee, a young woman, is petrified. He’s crazier than she ever thought. The killer has told her that he is carrying out the work of the great goddess, Vanadis. Her spirit has been fractured, and his mission is to find the mortals who have her spirit within them and return that spirit to her.

There are several subplots in this superbly crafted novel that add depth and intrigue to it. I found the description of the scenes to be vivid and the dialog realistic. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crime thrillers.

I received this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
